Le Groupe Fall Out Boy voit le jour en 2000. Composé de Patrick Stump, Andrew Hurley, Joseph Trohman et Pete Wentz, le groupe de rock s'investit dans un premier temps sur la production d'une maquette éponyme qui voit le jour en 2001. Deux ans plus tard, le quatuor livre son premier véritable album, Fall Out Boy's Evening Out with Your Girlfriend. Le second opus de la formation, Take this to your grave, arrive dans les bacs en 2003. Suivent My Heart Will Always Be B-Side To My Tongue (2004), From Under The Cork Tree (2005) qui les rendra célebres suite à de nombreux passages aux médias et Infinity On High (2007).


 Les débuts (2001-2002)
Fall Out Boy est un groupe formé au début de l'année 2001 par des amis Joe Trohman et Pete Wentz. Les deux jouaient dans différents groupes punk hardcore de la région de Chicago . Epaulés par Rob Kat un ami de joe trohman et aussi producteur , Ils ont décidé de lancer leur groupe dans le même style que ce qu'ils écoutaient à l'époque tel que Green Day, Descendents, ou The Smiths. Trohman a rencontré au lycée Patrick Stump dans un magasin Borders. Trohman s'est présenté à Stump quand il a vu qu'il parlait du groupe Neurosis, dont ils sont tous les deux fans.Stump a été auditionné pour la batterie, mais peu de temps après ils ont découvert ses qualités vocales et il est devenu le chanteur du groupe.

Deux autres musiciens ont été recrutés pour jouer alors à la batterie et à la guitare. Pendant l'année le groupe débute par la sortie d'une démo autoproduite, suivie le 28 mai 2002 de la sortie de Split EP, avec le groupe Project Rocket. Le groupe a sorti un mini-LP Fall Out Boy's Evening Out with Your Girlfriend sous le label Uprising Records en 2003.

Le groupe était sans nom pour leurs deux premiers concerts. À la fin de leur second concert, ils ont demandé au public de la salle s'ils avaient une idée de nom. Un spectateur a proposé Fall out Boy,une référence aux personnage associé aux Simpson qui est l'acolyte de Radioactive Man,dans la version originale. Soit Atomic Boy en français.

C'est en parcourant un dictionnaire de Latin à la recherceh d'un nom pour le groupe que jenn découvre le
mot Superbus: fier, insolent, ais aussi magnifique, brillant et superbe.

Composé de la charismatique jennifer Ayache au chant, auteur et compositrice et 22 ans au compteur, de
Michel Giovannetti et Patrice Focone aux guitares, de François Even à la basse et de Greg Jecks à la
batterie, superbus puisse sa substance moelle au coeur d'un vaste univers musical où se croisent des
influences alant de Not Doubt, Blondie en passant par Weezer, les Cure et Sublime.

Réalisés par David salsedo (Simarils), Aéromusical et Pop'n'Gum- les 2 premiers albums sz Superbus,
parus en 2002 et 2004 chez Mercury- révélaier un cocktail étonnant et détonnant, à base de mélodies
entâtantes, de guitares et rythmiques rock, l'ensemble ponctué de breaks syncopés aux couleurs
contrastantes de punk, du ska et de la pop.

Avec leur 3eme album "WOW" qu'ils ont réalisé, Superbus confirme et signe. Entre disco rock enivrant
aux accents new wawe et dirty pop aux riffs inparables album se révèle surprenant et aventureux, surfant
sur les influences 60's et 80's du groupe.

En seulement quatre ans, Superbus a imposé un univers visuel et musical unique en france avec 3 album
studio, un disque d'or pour leur second opus "Pop'n'Gum" une nomination aux Victoires de la musique,
une victoire aux MTV Europe awards pour le "meilleur groupe français" et des tournées survoltées dans
toutes la France...... Montez à bord du Superbus !!!!!!
